Dear Friend,
We write you this fundraising letter as we are halfway through filming a documentary about “social justice art”. Unfortunately our camera with which we brought you over forty films, documentaries and other footage stopped working. We intend to finish this documentary featuring many great artists such as film maker Udi Aloni, outspoken MC’s Lowkey, Immortal Technique, Anita Tijoux, up and coming graphic artists Favianna Rodriguez with Josh McPhee, or reporter and poet John Ross and these are justthe few.

We write you this letter post G20 summit, 10th year anniversary of The Battle of Seattle, Copenhagen climate summit, and the upcoming: one year memorial of Gaza massacre and other illegal wars.
On February 20 [World Day of Social Justice], Art And Struggle will be celebrating our first year anniversary in which we accomplished to build this lively digital gallery, have art exhibitions from New Britain to Manhattan, host periodical panel discussions with educators, reporters and doctors, and our audience consisting from everyday people to dedicated activists. Art And Struggle began as a grassroots organization, became a non-profit organization and just a few days ago gained tax deductible, 501 (c)3, status with assistance of the Middle East Crisis Committee.
Art And Struggle can not compete with corporate media, multinational art dealers, elitists art magazine or publishers who dictates the conditions of their games, but we intend to make an indent in their empires. We can bring you meaningful art such as the one done by anti-WTO demonstrators on the streets of Seattle reading “we are winning”. We have big plans ahead of us for 2010 Left Forum, March 19 – 21 and other projects and partnerships, but WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT WE CAN NOT ACCOMPLISH ANY OF IT.
With Solidarity and holiday greetings, Art And Struggle
PS: “We are art guides to our audiences, not the selling agents for the art dealers.”
We seek to support projects that create insights and understanding about society and the world we live in.

We thank to all whom in any way contributed to preserving this instrument which is
part of New Britain’s heritage.
Friends, supporters and fans, we have good news to announce.
In the summer of 2009 we reported about large antique church organs within New Britain, Connecticut, Romanesque style building, which were in danger of being salvaged in order to make room for interior expansion.
These beautiful old organs are no longer in danger to be thrown into the dumpster.
After many talks with university representatives, antique instruments salvage companies and gaining some time for finding a positive solution. We finally found one.
Founder of The Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestraartistic director Adrian Sylveen plans on safe dismantling, storing and after the renovation, reinstalling on new location within the same building Trinity-on-Main of this large still beautifully sounding organs. We spend a lot of time and resources on making this happy ending possible.
We thank to all whom in any way contributed to preserving this instrument which is part of New Britain’s heritage.

SAVE THE ORGANS
Please help us to find new home for this antique instrument
Please help us to find new home [preferably an institution, university, public school etc.] for old antique, church organs. This instrument is about 15feet wide, 15 feet deep and about 25 feet high [the main instrument] the keyboard has a size of average piano. The building where this instruments is will be having some construction going on in the area and needs to remove them, besides no one uses plays it anymore. They are free, or for small donation to ArtAndStruggle.Com who is trying to save them, and find new home for them, before they will get thrown to the dumpster.
